Distinguished Dispensary has been part of the Farmington community since May 2022, opening its doors right when New Mexico welcomed recreational cannabis. On New Year’s Day 2026, Jeremy and Rochelle Vigil officially took ownership — turning a place Rochelle already knew and loved into a true family business.
What sets Distinguished apart is simple: quality product, real knowledge, and genuine customer service. If it doesn’t meet their standard, it doesn’t make it into the store. But what Jeremy and Rochelle are most passionate about is education. Cannabis isn’t always about getting high — this plant can help in ways that often go overlooked, and the team here takes the time to guide every customer toward the right product for their needs. 01. Do I need a medical card to shop here?
No. New Mexico legalized recreational cannabis in 2022, so anyone 21 and older with a valid ID can shop at Distinguished Dispensary. Medical card holders are still welcome and may receive additional benefits.

That’s exactly what we’re here for. Our staff will walk you through the options, ask what you’re looking for, and help you find the right product and dose for your needs. No pressure, no judgment — just honest guidance.
03. Is everything in your store lab-tested?
Yes. Every product on our shelves is lab-tested for potency, purity, and safety. We only carry products from trusted, licensed brands that meet our standards.
04. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash only. However we do offer an ATM available in-store for your convenience.
